Ten years ago, I still feared loss enough to abandon myself in order to keep things stable. I'd smile when I was sad, pretend to like people who appalled me. What I now know is that losses aren't cataclysmic if they teach the heart and soul their natural cycle of breaking and healing.
Copy Quote View & ShareI think it's good to eat a bit of everything, but when you eat too much junk food, it's bad for you and for your brain. You don't understand why, but you feel sad. It's because of the junk food!
Copy Quote View & ShareIt's sad, actually, because my anxiety keeps me from enjoying things as much as I should at this age.

Copy Quote View & ShareI remember I was, like, 6 years old when I found out that I was having a little brother, and I was wishing and wishing for a sister.
